Opportunity for all
Investing in potential. Elevating our partners.
Opening new possibilities.
By building pathways to success for partners (employees), opportunity youth, veterans and their families - we create opportunity for our collective success. It’s simple: when we do the right thing for our partners and the people they serve - we do the right thing for our business.
WE’RE ON THE WAY TO
Opportunity Youth
Nearly 6 million young Americans are disengaged from school and work. To address this we need to tap into the leadership, creativity and fortitude of businesses, working with community to create new pathways to education and employment.
By supporting Opportunity Youth, we believe we can offer these young people a chance to dream big and reach their aspirations. Starbucks has committed to hiring at least 10,000 Opportunity Youth over the next three years and is working with other like-minded companies to collectively engage at least 100,000 Opportunity Youth by 2018.
